• MirzaAR: how many times do you check tumblr ?
• HokiesMary: i'd say around 3 times a day

• MirzaAR: nope. i know people who refresh their tumblr every hour
• HokiesMary: yeah it's starting to become an addiction that's similar to facebook
• MirzaAR: do you read ?
• HokiesMary: of course
• MirzaAR: any good book you'd like to share with the internets ?
• HokiesMary: i'm not sure if this is going to be everyone's cup of tea but i really really loved "coming of age in mississippi" by anne moody
• HokiesMary: and as far as poetry goes, i really love Derrick Brown. Everyone needs to know about him.
• MirzaAR: most people tend to ignore poetry today
• MirzaAR: do you care about your tumblr followers ?
• HokiesMary: some of them are my friends so i care about them naturally, but as far as everyone else, i care to some extent. Like there's a girl who follows me and she hasn't updated in a few months. She sounded a bit depressed before she stopped writing, so I really hope that she's okay
• MirzaAR: if you could meet anyone on tumblr inreal life, who would it be ?
• HokiesMary: the dc tumblrs! we've tried to have tumblr meet ups for so long but each time it kind of just falls through. maybe one day we'll give the tumblrs of new york a run for their money.
• MirzaAR: what do you do for a living ?
• HokiesMary: i actually just finished school and i'm starting med school in the fall
• HokiesMary: i don't do anything per se right now, it's sad times.
• MirzaAR: atleast you have a lot of free time that the corporate world would love
• MirzaAR: "tumblr is full of hipsters" agree or disagree ?
• HokiesMary: i'd love to split it with the corporate world, it bothers me that i have nothing to do
• HokiesMary: to some extent. maybe at the beginning it was - it always takes a few people ahead of the curve to get things going, but now i'd say it's made up of a wide variety of interesting people
• MirzaAR: are you looking for a job ? (maybe someone reading this might have one)
• HokiesMary: i don't know if anyone would really employ me for weeks at a time. i'm going on vacation in a week or so and afterwards i think i have about a month off so if anyone employed me, i wouldn't stick around long since i'm headed back to school.
• HokiesMary: i am an awesome high fiver so you know, if anyone wants to hire me to do that, i'm your girl.
• MirzaAR: are you getting the iphone ?
• HokiesMary: I would really like one, BUT... I'm moving to Antigua for a year or so I think I'll wait until I come back.
• HokiesMary: If Steve Jobs is reading this, he can hire me to test out the iPhone for him.
